About Our Roaster

Xanadu Coffee Co is owned and operated by Randy Denton, and is located behind the Phoenix Farmers Market in Downtown Phoenix.  Randy has been roasting coffee for approximatley four years and his coffee is already the best(in my opinion) in the valley.

Randy has a strong work ethic.  He is always willing to make sure you get the coffee you need when you need it.  I  took Randy as my roaster after watching his strong work ethic and his coffee blends grow over a year and a half.  I have to say that I am absolutely pleased to represent him in the valley.

We utilize Randy's own "Espresso Vela" for my espresso and also his Ethiopian Harrar for my Toddy needs!  Besides roasting for coffee shops Randy also will custom roast for your personal needs as well, make sure to stop by and check out his website!

El Salvador Las Ranas 'Yellow Bourbon'

A really cool micro lot of 100% yeloow bourbon varietal coffee from El Salvador. Very nice, mellow flavor profile with subtle floral flavors.

El Salvador Las Ranas Natural Prep.

A nice little gem from my usual provider of El Salvador coffee. This one is natural processed though, giving it some real nice fruity flavors.

Ethiopian Natural Process Limu Nigussie Lemma

The natural processed stuff always comes out a little 'wild' and this is definitely no exception. Very fruity and intense.  This is the coffee that makes our toddy run full steam!

Tanzania Ruvuma AAA

I have no idea why the AAA tastes so much different from the AA fromt he same Co-op, but it does and I'm very happy with it. It's really somewhere between a high quality Kenyan and Ethiopian Yirgachefe coffee, very like tea like body with nice floral and fruit flavors. Probably my favorite right now (until the Candelaria gets in I'm sure).

Guatemalan Huehuetenango Tres Marias

Definitely worth a try. This Guatemalan makes a really tasty drip as well as a nice balanced SO espresso. Try this if you like full-bodied, smooth coffees.
